A new review is waiting: the Artemis Fowl series. So if you ever read it - enjoy the review; if you didn't, do read this.

Book Review #1 pt. 1: Artemis Fowl

Series.

So after reading five out of six books in the series, I decided I should add a Book Review section for all the books I read and will read. Now it IS too bad I couldn't read the last book yet,  because now I will need to finish the review once I do. So if you're ready, let us go. :3

Artemis Fowl is a great book, concentrating mainly about the fantasy and action genres. It gives the reader the feeling of an action movie ment for the younger audience. The reason is, there's not many action movie for kids. How sad. Frown

It's very first book tells about a young twelve-year-old uber-genius, or in my words, TYO UG. xD
The background of the story is that this genius was looking for... A Fairy/Lepracon/Gnome/Pixie/Centaur etc. and it certainly started two years before the story start. It means that he put the message somewhere deep in the internet when he was ten. (Which apparently was the age he learned to surf the internet; kinda late).
Anyhow one day he gets a real reply, unlike the others that were, of course, lies.

The story developes so that whithin a short while he captures a fairy that works as a Leprecon, a.k.a the LEP (Lower Elements Police {?}). Her name is Holly Short. Does he get the gold he wanted or does he not? you have to read to know.

So in short, the next books go over the following ideas: Artemis and Holly Short become friends, so does the LEP, artemis goes to save his poor little father from the north pole, you should obciously know that he survived since there are more books. And in the third book it's something about a C-cube, the fourth is about the return of OPAL, THE EVUL PIXIE, the fifth is too secret to tell you, and I'm waiting for the sixth. I know what's in there, but I won't tell you either.

NOTE THAT YOU SHOULDN'T START FROM ANY OF THE ABOVE BUT THE FIRST BOOK. Without it you ruin yourself the story, the imaginary movie going in your head, and everything. So please buy the first book then proceed, you'll get addicted so I don't need to tell about the rest of the books.

Time for the ranks...

Humour: 9.5 - Great humour, but it lacks in very few places. But it still does.
Quality: 10. Nothing else to say about it.
New-english-speaking-people (NESP) Possibility Of Reading: 6. You bloody Artemis, you talk too much, so you're too smart for.. well.. everyone but Minerva. :S
Kid compatibility: 9. Just nine, that's it.
IMO: 10.

AVERAGE SCORE: 8.9!

Ty for reading, I hope I will get better with reviewing as I go.
